Bianca, Charl and a very full mug
How it started
Rustic Mug began the way most good things do — at home. Bianca and Charl made hot chocolate for family and friends in their Bloemfontein kitchen, and it kept coming up in conversation long after the mugs were empty. People wanted to take some home.
So they started making pouches. Then more pouches. Rustic Mug grew out of those requests, not out of a boardroom.
What we care about
We care about the taste more than the trend. Our mixes are made in small batches so that every pouch has the same rich, comforting flavour we serve in our own home.
We also care about the people drinking it. If you want help choosing between the hot chocolate and the chocolate milk, or you're putting together a gift, message us — you'll be talking to us, not a call centre.

Everything we sell is mixed here in the Free State. Come collect from us, have it delivered locally, or let us courier it to you anywhere in South Africa.
